Glendale Ceremony Photos

The Glendale Dedication began at 10:30 AM as 37 Officers and men entered the woods retracing the exact attack path of the original 69th on June 30, 1862. Winding through trees and thorn bushes, they crossed two streams, traversed gullies and hills. Finally, at the bottom of the final hill they formed a battle line and charged forward. Waiting there for them were not rebel troops with weapons ready, but rather a group of about 40 supporters waiting to witness the ceremony.
